Looks pretty damn good just the way you have it to me! A hefty price tag I'm sure but would be a hell of a system.

Re: New Rig ...comments and suggestions please

That will be a fantastic system Jacobite. The only thing I would change is the case. I would use the Corsair 550D, but that is based on personal preference, not performance. Enjoy!

Looks great!
How much is going to cost you? I would opt for a larger hard.

Re: New Rig ...comments and suggestions please

Looks great to me to, I like the 2x 3TB drives. They will be fast. I don't think you need a 1200W PS but it won't hurt either.

Re: New Rig ...comments and suggestions please

I love all the Corsair cases too, the 650D is very nice also but that New 550 that's coming out is going to be awesome! Your new rig is going to one FAST son of a gun! Great job on picking out the components, by the way good to see you again!

Re: New Rig ...comments and suggestions please

Thanks for your comments guys. Yeah the 1200 is a little over the top but better to have more than not enough . The hardest thing to choose was the SSD's since this will be my first go round with them. Hopefully I don't screw it up on the setup.

Re: New Rig ...comments and suggestions please

Rethinking the SSD's prolly gonna go with the Intel 520 240 gigs. I like a full tower case so prolly gonna stick with the HAFX. I looked at the Fulmo's as well. They look nice,

Bill

Good choice with Intel's Toolbox you can manual TRIM your SSD and upgrade the firmwarer with a single click, the biggest plus is Intel's longevity!

I'm running 2X180gig Intel 520 ssd's in RAID-O.
Their just as fast as the 520 240gig, and playing quite nice...
