Re: New Antec 1000W Platinum Power Supply.
Hi Sir Skully,
Not sure if the Antec is out yet. Just making others aware of the pentium power supplies coming out (I mean platinum ) I am so set with my PS it is sad 'cause I will never need a new one. I will have to find a new purpose for the Seasonic after I retire my desktop system lol.

Re: New Antec 1000W Platinum Power Supply.
If it cost $100 less then I would buy it and just wrap the ends of the cables with black electrical tape. No problem.

Re: New Antec 1000W Platinum Power Supply.
That would really look good, or better yet just don't have a window case then no can see.....plus who needs a 1000 watt PS, unless you have 3 video cards?

Re: New Antec 1000W Platinum Power Supply.
I just don't think wrapping the ends with black tape would look very good, in my humble opinion and not what I would consider doing, I guess that's why they call them PC's....personal computers...LOL...

Re: New Antec 1000W Platinum Power Supply.
Thats why I opted for the Corsair power supply cables. Mine look great and the flat 4pin Molex cables fit nicely behind the left side panel.

Re: New Antec 1000W Platinum Power Supply.
My point is if you're worried about such an insignificant thing and spending possibly $100 more for that reason is wacky. Then as a workaround you could cover the few cables that would show this minor asthetics problem. I wouldn't bother putting tape on myself. The reason they make them that way is so they bend a lot easier than fully wrapped ones.

Re: New Antec 1000W Platinum Power Supply.
1000w is simply crazy. Why would a computer needed 1000w? Even the game rig is full of high power consumption hardware wouldn't need a 1000w. :-\ or simply I'm a noob?lol
