Sounds like a nice setup, going to be really fast with those 2 Sandisk SSD's! Jerry if you want a really quiet rig look at the Corsair 550D case.

Looks good Griff, maybe consider the Samsung 840 on the SSD front? Amazon's got some real good prices on those babies!

Re: New build maybe

Those are nice parts, but if you haven't bought them yet and aren't in a hurry, consider waiting for Haswell and Z87 in Q2 2013.

Re: New build maybe

Go for it but get Haswell in few months, but you can shop for the other parts in the mean time!

Re: New build maybe

Hey Jerry,

If you decide to go I7-3770K, you might want to go air cooling since that part is only 77 watts TDP.

{Don't know your overclocking intention, Graphics card requirments, or how hot you keep your place in the summer}

The air cooling would be simpler, and you could throw the money you save into a case build around noise suppression.

Re: New build maybe

Way to go Griff!. Your choices are dandy but I would wait on Haswell as well. It is right around the corner and there will be so many models you will find one in your price range. Haswell chipsets will work better with SSD's than ever before and you also get a 2x faster GPU than you do with Ivy Bridge CPU's. Depending on what you do you might not even need a video card if you use Haswell's GPU.
