New motherboard fitted in. Everything ok. But Front Power LED doesnt work.

The LED for power on the front of the cabinet doesnt light up. Ofcourse so even when i put the system in standby it doesnt blink either.

The motherboard is ASUS P8H77 M and its brand new. Do you think the guy who assembled it fixed the leads wrong ?

What should i do please ?

Thanks

Hey bud, maybe the led bulb gone bad or wiring not right. If ya
have two led lights in front of the case.
Try the one thats not working on the other led light,
and see if it works. If it does then ya know its not the mobo.

Hi Skully,

What your saying is to try the HDD led in the power led jumper and see if it lights correct ?

Most times it is just that one has the polarity reversed. Leds only work one way.

Turn the jumper around... instead of + - make it - +

You might just reverse the plug and see if it works. Great minds think alike...LOL
