Odd Password Problem

A customer brought me a Sony Vaio laptop to work on yesterday. This is a strange one...

It seems that from one day to the next, somehow, a windows user password was enabled on the main account on this laptop. Supposedly, the user did not setup this password. Odd I know...

Anyway, I've tried OPHcrack, PCLoginNow, and Offline NT Password. All three are boot discs and work on every machine I've seen with one exception... You guessed it... Sony Vaio laptop...

It is UEFI... GPT

Any suggestions?

Re: Odd Password Problem

I know this one is quite inappropriate for the forum...

Re: Odd Password Problem

Checking in to let you all know that this problem is resolved.

I had to pay for a recovery application, but in the end, it worked.

Now I have a very nice software suite to recover all kinds of stored passwords...

The great part: I get paid to do it!!!
