Simple routing question involving wireless and dd-wrt

Fairly simple question here:

I've finally managed to extend my network to my tv room over coaxial thanks to moca adapters. Everything is wired correctly, and my speeds are great over wires. That being said, I do have a question about running two wifi routers in the same network, with the same SSID.

Initially, I had been using my dd-wrt router as a repeater bridge, and it worked, but the speeds were lackluster (hence the switch to MOCA). My question is, now that I have the dd-wrt router wired to my first router via ethernet (and technically over moca), what mode should I set it the radio to? DHCP is turned off, as my gateway is set to my first router, and the dd-wrt is fine with this. But I am confused as to how to set it up so wireless clients can connect to the dd-wrt router.

For the moment, it's operating in router mode and the wireless is set to AP. Also, is there a way to tell which router a device is connecting to wirelessly? Confusing when both wifi routers are running the same SSID.
Thanks. If you have any questions, please ask.
