Morning

Check out the beginning of the video I linked to.

The voices and the background (walls) looks eerily similar to HF labs. I think it is the pastel tile or something.

Me either. It appears the plot is your are trying to live and survive after the bomb so you make your dwelling which you have to protect with your life. It is kind of a marriage of building and FPS. Still the graphics look pretty good and I need a taxing game badly.

Re: Fo4

I dk about HL, but if this game s like FO3 I'l be happy.
Graphics are looking awesome! i'm seriously concerned about my aging X48, C2D rig! Hopefully it will be enough coupled with the 780.

Here is what the developer says.

At least a GTX 780 and a i7 4790K is recommended by the game developer. Hard to believe it takes that much power. The minimum is a GTX 550 Ti which is definitely not the card you want to go with.

Also, down at the bottom explains it all regarding the new 'FO4' improvements.

"Regardless of your system configuration, all NVIDIA GPU users will automatically receive Optimal Playable Settings for Fallout 4 through GeForce Experience, and those with sufficiently-speedy, compatible GPUs will have NVIDIA Volumetric Lighting effects enabled in-game. With a single-click, Fallout 4’s 20 settings will be auto-configured for your system, with a target of 60 frames per second, delivering a responsive, smooth experience.

With our Optimal Playable Settings, Game Ready drivers, and Volumetric Lighting effects, the definitive Fallout 4 experience will be on GeForce GTX PCs. If you do need or desire an upgrade to attain this experience, our recommended GeForce GTX 970 can be won in Radiation Check contest, along with an amazing, themed Fallout 4 PC, and copies of the game."

So like I was saying, you should load Game Experience and select the FO4 game to get optimal play and not just the driver.

I've been using that for over a year now on all my games and works well...

Re: Fo4

FVB, at 3840x2160 which is quite a bit bigger than yours and Skully's 34" monitor, your card gets 41FPS. Your old card 970 would have got 26FPS.

It's good you upgraded. How about replying to all those OC posts I made FVB? You chicken???

Re: Fo4

What does the SSD have to do with the game? What SSD are you planning on getting? If it is out I will try to DL this weekend.
