Windows 10 Browser.

I have been using Edge but with the latest Windows version when I type in the address bar it treats it as a web address. Also you cannot remove Bing from search providers.

I have decided to load IE11 vs. Edge. The address bar thing was the last straw for me. Some things I like and miss about Edge like opening a new browser (+) and that it would not close the browser if left open which was fantastic. But IE11 has the easier to use bookmarks, has search in address bar, and what I really like is being able to highlight any text on a webpage, right click, and then do a Google search. That is indispensable for me.

Re: Windows 10 Browser.

IE 11 crashes a lot for me, tried edge but I'm sold on Chrome, the bookmarks bar with all my favorite websites on it, very rarely have to go the bookmark tab. Plus it dosen't crash very often, in fact can't remember the last time.

Well I may be going to Chrome next if IE11 gives me any headaches again. I do not believe I have used it since 8.1.

Re: Windows 10 Browser.

Well that didn't take long. I installed and am using Google Chrome now. IE11 started loading a page and wouldn't scroll. Then the page scrolls a bit and stalls, then it scrolls a bit and stalls again.

Re: Windows 10 Browser.

I've used Internet Explorer almost exclusively.
That loading and stalling / loading /stalling in Explorer I have found is linked to flash on the page trying to load. Internet explorer has always been horrendous with flash objects on the web.
uninstall flash player and pages load really fast.
I find it really interesting that other web browsers don't have this issue with flash. go figure, it's microsoft

I use Chrome and Love it, chrome updates flash so you don't have to deal with it, flash is built into Chrome...just a thought!
