Very nice Ken. Here is the slideshow link.

I saw your temps above with HWMonitor, they look good and also noticed your speed was 4.5GHz on all cores it appears. I thought it was supposed to be 4.5GHz on 2 cores only. It would be good to see what Intel XTU says about all cores speed. Also, HWMonitor is showing your package wattage which is nice, mine does not.

If you get ASUS mobo Aura it has the ability to set your LED's and there is a page in there that lets you turn them off when the computer is off. Otherwise they stay on. You also have a setting in BIOS where you can do the same thing but the turning it off seems to work better with the Windows Aura software.

Looking really good, congrats on the nice system. I like the RAM slots on that board. I had a nice system planned with that board. It was going to be either the Thermalright Tru-Spirit 140mm with red Mushkin or black HyperX memory or an EK water block I would still keep my 1080 on water but I would not be OCing my CPU. Make sure you have the Intel Turbo 3.0 driver installed. Looking forward to some benchmarks.

Thanks for the info on the led's staying on when the computer is off, I was wondering about that. The Intel Turbo 3.0 is installed it pops up on a re-boot or regular boot up and I have to close the popup (Skully had the same problem, have to ask him if he found a fix). I'm still setting up stuff, I need to find a oem W10 Pro cheap, mine didn't activate, I changed to much, but I will run some benchmarks in a day or two. Thanks for the slideshow link I didn't see that one, Haven't used Photobucket much....LOL

Re: Fall Upgrade 2017!

Called Microsoft and used there auto activation feature and got it activated...pretty painless really...having the MS account associated with the license helped!

Re: Fall Upgrade 2017!

My idle is 97 watts which includes the monitor in sleep mode and the Quantum Router operating. Your wattage is low for what you have. I may rethink the 299, maybe.

BTW, get rid of photo bucket - too many ads, very distracting for us old folks. Girls were pretty!

Wouldn't use it except for this this site...lol...I have my Nas hooked up to the UPS also, I forgot about that one.... Don't really know how much it draws, let me figure out how to read the watts off the ups and I'll turn off my monitor!

Re: Fall Upgrade 2017!

144-42=102

Only 5w more than I have now.

From your pictures which some were taken on a slight angle - the GPU looks very slightly angled. May need a bracket?

Your EATX board is not as big as I thought. I bet it would fit in my case. Ahhh, so many options, so little time!
