Wow, thanks Noah! This is a great day for the team. We all seem to be getting together at around the same time.

Cool about VMWare-I have thought about trying VMWare but then decided having more 'puters for the money was better for me. Check my profile-it has changed considerably.

Definitely a cool day! I have only one PC here at work (other comp is a mac) so vmware is perfect - all three major platforms present!). And this licence isn't bad if you work for a college. Gotta love academic discounts!

I very much like your team of comps, PR - I always follow your changes with interest!

I'm still looking into dual AMD at home... need some money to do it though he he! How's the Iwill treating you?

Team_AthlonPower is already the 13th highest producer - when this stat updates tomorrow, we should be in the top 10!!

I have always been an IWill fan and I have to admit it is great that IWill has a board as good as the MPX2. With the two retail MP2400+ procs in the case, the system is still the quietest of the systems I have. The PIV system is actually the loudest. I think part of it is due to the dually having the quiet 36db Enermax 550w PSU (24/8 pin server-class). It is hard to decide if I will use the dually or the Supermicro more for my development work. The Epox is mainly for my family; however, it does have Oracle 8i EE on it when needed-I normally try to use Oracle 9i EE whenever I can (the 9i engine is considerably better than the 8i engine). Playing around with the dually last night (first night it became a dually) and it was doing multi-tasking like I really like to multi-task. It was simple tasking but still it was nice to install programs while running an update through the Internet while moving large files from one box to another-with no lag or hiccup. Of course, part of the load was handled by the processor on the NIC and the other processor on the 3Ware card-but still the old chipset board is very good and what I expect for a real server class system. Maybe when the nForce2 dually boards come out I will replace my Supermicro.

Well since Team P4Power is about to knock me me outta the #10 spot, I'll throw my 2 Athlons into the fold for the Athlon Team.

XP 1.73 @ 2.4 and 1.53 @ 1.68 for a total of 4.08GHZ.

I'll be joining the competition as well with my lonely P4 @ 2.7 and throwing my P3 1000 @ 1178 on the CUSL team.

I got five rigs begging for power too... did you really start a team with that name pointreyes?

Hell I got two P3 600's, two Celeron 633's and a Celeron 600 at work folding. I'll change them over next week to the begging for power team. They will fit in quite well there.
