Thanks camel, on both counts.

I don't think I'm going to get higher than 10 though because mrjackk seems to have pulled some processing power out of a hat and is having a surge forward at the moment

Regards,

Martyn.

Happy Birthday Martyn,

Nice going on your top ten spot. I did bring on two more boxes part-time. Did not want you passing me before I entered top ten.
How about combining processing power and move up faster? I will be happy to fold under your handle. However, my folding must end by August 1, 2003 except for one machine.

Later, Jack

Thanks for the offer mrjackk but it looks like we have similar game plans. I expect to be shutting my machines down at the end of June so there really isn't much point in joining forces now. It's a shame really we would have made a formidable team

I was originally only going to fold for 3 months i.e. 1 electricity bill but I carried on till I hit No. 10 so I've done more than I expected.

Regards,

Martyn.

Congrats to both of you! I was holding down the number 9 spot there for about a day... and then you both came along!!! Curse YOU!

Seriously though, I am sorry to hear that you are both leaving; the team has taken a hit lately with people talking about leaving and shutting their machines down. Hopefully we will rebound, but our influx of people has pretty much come to a standstill. [frowns] Hopefully I will be wrong about it, and we will have some people to replace the others (not personally replace, just to replace their proc power of course! ), so let's see everyone show me wrong out there! Thanks JayatPCL,

I had rough time catching up with you. My near six months of folding was and is very fun. After July I will have my main computer folding only part-time.

Farm on,

Jack

Thanks Mr. J...

I just wish we could have kept the race going for a while longer, but who knows... maybe you'll find a couple spare procs down the road...

Thanks Traveler,

Apart for the electricity costs the problem of having 5 computers dotted around my bedroom is causing havoc with my sleep patterns, the noise is deafening and I'm being poached with the heat.

I just gotta get some sleep

Question Do you think our score will go RED

Hi Mr Jackk,

I told you that the combination of the two of us would be formidable but do you think we will ever make it into the red zone?

Given the rate we are scoring points, I feel very tempted to leave my machines running until you have to turn yours off on July 31st

Anyway we haven't officially announced going into partnership would you like to do the honours?

Regards,

Martyn.

Do we have a happy couple here?
Both the same gender?
In our country you two could get married

HI Martyn,

Thought you would not notice. Since you had doubts about getting pass spot number ten I gave you after-burners. Making it to "red" is another story. Maybe others will help us out. We have until JUly 31.

Later, Jack
