It is a rather interesting system considering the way the graphics works on it. Another thing of insterest is that the pop-up killer for future IE release is already in this one.
I'm interested in the 3D technology that's part of the interface. I believe it's called Avalon. Too bad we'll have to wait til probably 2006 to see the final product.

I think you hit the nail on the head. : Point I am really getting a kick outa learning that there are people worse than myself. Hehehe I think I am going to forward this thread to my wife. Maybe it will help her deal with my problem. You know we may need to start a wife support thread on here. Then we can sneak in and find out what they are truly thinking

I haven't been without a computer 1 day in the last 2 years from what I can remember. And if it was down, I was working on it. How sad.

Two years? How about 23 years since my first Z-80 2k Ram home built. I used to carry one of those 20 Lb Compaq lugables around when flying in 83 and look for power plugs at airports. Isure wish I had kept them all, from my first Apple ][ in 1981 on, I could have a museum

When I become nostalgic, I like visiting this site. Check out the museum section which has info on a lot of dinosaurs.

Hi SlackerXL. Yes, you're right. We sometimes stray off topic. But I think you'll find whenever someone poses a question about the P4C800-E, plenty of people here will step forward to help out.

BIOS 1014 is fine so far. Been using it for two days. No problems. I haven't seen any major increase in performance. But the BIOS seems very stable. As I mentioned on another thread, I think Asus needed to get this BIOS right, or risk losing a lot of credibility. 1012 never made it past the beta stage and ended up frying people's boards. 1013 was another disaster for some. By the way, I like your little song.

P "Thats no problem. I had a feeling that might happen. I have duplicates of pages 1-100, triplicate of 100-215 and I did 216 thru 502 in double inked quad part forms. As to that pic, I've got 6 more copies in the trunk of the car, Dear."

PW "Oh ok, then we can use one copy of 302-331 to start the fire on the beach tonight?"

P "Welllll........actually I'd prefer it if you'd use fig's 1.1-0 thru 1.1-25. Those weren't of any real use to me as I already know that. It's actually really basic."

PW "Ok, I'll grab the pics...... you grab the kids and I'll see by the deck."

P "How about if I grab the pics? I know which file folder they are in. You'd have to look thru at least the first 30 to find them."

PW "YES, then you grab the pics. I'll get the kids and be outside."

P "Alright, I'll be there in a few minutes. Let me grab those pics and maybe pages 246-260. Oh yea, I'll get the marshmellows too."

Everything is looking good with 1014 bios.
Just use afudos to flash it and don't use /pnbc.
