I JUST GOT MY NEW RIG GOING...RAID AND ALL! I WILL BE A LOADING FOOL FOR AT LEAST 3 MORE HOURS!! YOU KNOW HOW IT GOES.. I AM MAKING SOME SILLY MISTAKES THOUGH.. DAMN I LOVE THIS ACRYLIC CASE...(ALTHOUGH NOT THE MOST ACCESSIBLE) ..IT ROCKS!! I'LL HAVE TO POST PICS (AFTER I SLEEP OF CORSE).. I'M SURE I WILL RETURN WITH MORE STUPID QUESTIONS SOON ENOUGH.. I WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE A USER FRIENDLY BENCH MARK PROG. NO MUMBO JUMBO..JUST STATS THAT IDIOTS LIKE ME COULD UNDERSTAND!

OK, I have to know - does the bios 1014 definitely has support for the Prescott? I have seen one thread that says no. And I have seen another end up with a dead board upon testing the Prescott. :sad:

Asus website claims it does but where did you see users who werent able to? Cause I am thinking of a Prescott also for me.

Also the P4CED14A.zip is final I know there was a version without the A in it that I manged to dl but deleted it could be the users had the non A version?

......PastorJay is also on O/C Forums and he said the problem wasn't the mobo but probably how he put it together. I wouldn't worry, when guys are all excited and swapping mobos anything can happen.......

whats mps rev..?

in bios, what is mps revision? options are 1.1 & 1.4

i just tried over clocking at 10% and i lost performance...ha oh well. anyone have taylored oc settings for my setup? i may be bios illiterate, but i can sure build a pretty rig...lol

How did you set your memory settings? Sometimes if you use the 10% automatic OC in the bios it loosens your timings on your mem causing a higher CPU rate and poorer performance. At least it did for me... Try setting your mem manually. Not sure what memory you are using.
