DVDShrink Version Revision Thread

I thought it would be a good idea to have one central thread whenever there is an upgrade to DVDShrink, since many of us use this program. So for any new version releases, I shall post it to this thread, along with the revision notes. Link:
http://dvdshrink.org/

Version 3.2.0.14/3.2.0.15 - 25 July 2004 -present
-------------------------------

Added Quality Settings tab in the backup dialog, with option
to enable AEC "adaptive error compensation" algorithms.

Updated to NeroSDK 1.05, which includes support for burning
DVD-9 dual-layer media. Added DVD-9 target size in preferences
window.

Removed "burn with DVD Decrypter" checkbox and replaced with
a selectable backup target.

Added burn with CopyToDVD as a backup target, this appears if
CopyToDVD is installed.

Added automatic support for splitting ISO files if they are
saved to a FAT32 partition. In this case a .MDS file is
also output which can be burned with DVD Decrypter and mounted
by Daemon Tools. MDS files can additionally be opened with
DVD Shrink from the "Open Disc Image..." menu.

Added support for replacing a title with a custom image. A
default image from Guy Incognito is installed.

Added "InstallPath", "InstallApp" and "InstallHelp" keys to
the DVD Shrink registry.

Added "March by ZeF69" toolbar.

Fixed bug where Panscan and Letterbox subpicture streams could
be erroneously discarded in some circumstances.

Fixed bug if volume label exceeded 32 characters.

I'm surprised they are still releasing updates for dvdshrink as I read somewhere that the programmer is now working for Ahead software to support Nero Recode. Unless they found someone else to take over to update the software.

From what I read he will continue to improve upon version 3 but will not release any new versions afterword such as Version 4.

No problem... Since this is a thread only about DVDshrink it would be nice if MHG would collect the information about downloads and such and keep that in the first post of this thread. So edit in the download location and stuff so people can get it right away...

I could do it for you but I don't make it a habbit to edit peoples posts!

DVDshrink

Great software and thread. I'm using 3.1.6 and have just downloaded 1.7. So easy to use and these Pioneer 8x burners are very cool. I love the Ritek disks but can't get the 8x yet. Too scared to upload the firmware hack to make this drive 12x and burn 4x disks at 8x. Happy with 14.5 minute burns so far.

Shrink makes the job so simple.

Have fun abxers.
