I've made a copper watercooling block for the northbridge! Now I have to secure on the chip, but some capacitor makes it hard, because there is no enough room
I don't want extra fans! It is a too loud sollution for me

U can use 92mm fans and have better cooling without increasing the noise.

Hi, im new to this forum.

Just wanted to share my 2.8E experience. I initially bought the chip with a p4p800 and got to 243fsb on 1.435 Vcore. I thought this was decent and it was stable. Unfortunately i suffered from the 3d artifact problem when the fsb was being pushed too high.

I bought myself a IC7 and it performed better overclocked. At the moment it's stable at 245fsb @ stock Vcore and 1:1 mem/cpu ratio. I havnt attempted anything higher. The 3d artifact problem wasnt a issue with this board. Unfortunately it reads temperatures wrong.

Actually I had to install 2 lateral SmartFans trowing air inside

1 SmartFan at the upper backside and another one over the top of the case just taking the hot air out of the case.

I also installed some chipsinks at some critical MBs componests, as PLLs and Mosfets.

Did some vmem eighther to keep the Geil in pair w/ the CPU FSB ability.

try using a variable fan controler. I use a couple Vantec Tornado's in my box and keep them at low speed until game time. Never had to turn them all the way up either. Still they aren't quiet but the box is on the floor and under the counter...

Hi everyone this is my first post, so please go easy on me dudes lol

I have built a nice pc but i know nothing about overclocking, my motherboard has inbuilt options for o/c but whenu choose to overclock it my memory speed recudes from 200 to 166, etc.

Does anyone have a P4P800D that can point me in the right direction, the options i have if i go manual are:

CPU external frequency (mhz)
CPU Ratio
DRAM Frequency
AGP/PCI Frequency
CPU VCore Offset to.IV
DDR Reference Voltage
AGP VDDQ Voltage
Performance Mode

and what agp aperture size should i be runnning?

and for some reason my hyper-x is only runnning at cas2.5 at 1:1 is this optimal????

also my vcore voltage keeps moving slightly is this normal?

thanks in advance guys and sorry for all the questions
